The Nigerian Army has approved the disengagement of a Warrant Officer and 242 others in various formations across the country. The soldiers are expected to proceed on terminal leave With effect from January 15, 2023. They are expected to be finally disengaged from the service from February 15, 2023. Convoy of wife of Osun State governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, was reportedly attacked by suspected hoodlums Friday evening. The Ogun State Police Command has raised the alarm that a yet-to-be identified serial killer is on the prowl in Remo axis in the Remo-North local government area of the state. The National Broadcasting Commission has revoked the licences of AIT/Ray Power FM, Silverbird TV Network and 50 other broadcast stations over N2.6bn debt. The Director-General, NBC, Malam Balarabe Ilelah, who made the disclosure at a news conference on Friday in Abuja, ordered the affected stations to shut down in the next 24 hours.
